Neste livro vamos conhecer a história de amor de Matthew Fisher e Dee Dee (Delores) Warren, os melhores amigos de infância, quase irmãos, de Drew e Kate dos livros anteriores. Nós já os conhecemos dos outros livros e até sabemos muita coisa sobre o que acontece com eles, mas o que realmente acontece entre 'quatro paredes'...

We already know them for the other books and even know much about what happens to them, but what really happens between 'four walls'...
Nos outros livros conhecemos a cabeça e o coração de Drew, porque é ele quem conta a história (POV de Drew) e neste livro quem conta a história e mostra o seu coração (e que coração mais lindo) é Matthew. Apesar de Drew e Matthew terem sido criados juntos, quase irmãos, e serem até então dois 'galinhas' que só estão atrás de uma boa transa... eles são diferentes, Drew é um workholic, ama muito o que faz... Matthew é muito trabalhador também, eles trabalham juntos na mesma empresa, criada pelos pais deles, mas Matthew gosta de outras coisas, como fotografar (me identifiquei muito com ele), adora andar de moto, e é super coração, não foge de relacionamentos, apesar de ter sofrido com um quase noivado há um tempo atrás, não se importa de transar com a mesma mulher mais que uma única vez...

Quando Matthew se encontra com Dee Dee, ainda no primeiro livro, quando Drew e Kate são apenas colegas de trabalho e eles vão todos almoçar, já rola uma atração, que logo logo vai pra frente, porque nenhum dos dois tem 'amarras'... mas uma noitada juntos, não significa, pelo menos para Dee Dee que eles devem continuar um relacionamento. E é Matthew quem tem que convencer Dee que ele é um homem que merece a sua confiança e amor.
When Matthew meets Dee Dee, in the first book, when Drew and Kate are just co-workers and they all go to lunch, as rolls an attraction that soon enough will forge ahead, because neither have 'strings attached ... together but a night, does not mean, at least for Dee Dee they should continue a relationship. And it is Matthew who has to convince Dee that he is a man who deserves your trust and love.
Adorei ver outro ponto de vista masculino, Matthew é menos engraçado que Drew (que é hilário), mas é muito interessante saber que uma autora consegue fazer um livro em primeira pessoa, em voz masculina, com tanta maestria. Quem me acompanha sabe que eu prefiro livros narrados em terceira pessoa (com narrador onisciente) do que os me primeira pessoa, a não ser os que tem os dois POV mesclados durante o livro, mas os livros de Emma Chase são perfeitos, é como se tivessemos conversando com um homem e suas inseguranças e pensamentos masculinos... tanto para Drew quanto para Matthew.
I loved seeing another male point of view, Matthew is less funny than Drew (which is hilarious), but it is very interesting to know that an author (a woman author) can make a book in first person, a male voice, so masterfully. Whoever follows me knows that I prefer books narrated in the third person (with omniscient narrator) than books in first person, except those who have merged the two POV during the book, but the books of Emma Chase are perfect, as is if we were talking to a man and his male insecurities and thoughts... so much for Drew and for Matthew.
Já estou ansiosa pelo próximo livro, que volta ao POV de Drew, e espero que Emma Chase continue com esta série nos contando sobre Jack e quem sabe sobre Mackensie...
I'm anxious for the next book, which returns to POV Drew, Emma Chase and hopefully continue with this series telling us about Jack or even who knows about Mackenzie...
