Olá pessoal, hoje venho com mais um livro internacional (me deixem saber se vocês gostam ou não deste tipo de post) porque eu amo conhecer novos livros e autores, que ainda não chegaram no Brasil e que podemos ajudar a chegar...

Este livro pode ser um pouco mais difícil, porque fala sobre Baseball, eu me descobri, querendo descobrir mais sobre Baseball, devido a alguns personagens jogadores deste esporte, tão pouco conhecido por nós, Brasileiros... temos Ryan Sullivan (by Bella Andre) e agora Jack Bennett (muito fofo)... eles jogam em posições diferentes. Ryan é lançador (pitcher) e Jack é o homem da 2ª base (second baseman), ainda vou aprender sobre Baseball... rsrs

Minhas impressões (My Review)

Apesar de eu conhecer pouco sobre baseball, e o livro fala muito sobre regras, campo, posições, lançamentos, temporadas e tantas outras coisinhas sobre o esporte o romance, o relacionamento do livro é encantador... uma comédia romântica que poderia virar filme... daquelas bem fofas. Although I know little about baseball, and this book talks a lot about rules, field, positions, releases, seasons and so many other little things about the sport, the romance, the relationship of the book is lovely... a romantic comedy that could turn a movie... those really cute.

Izzy é orfã, perdeu a mãe ainda pequena, quando tinha 11 anos e alguns anos depois perdeu o pai, apesar de ter querido ser médica, para ajudar a descobrir a cura ou tratamento para o cancer, a fim de que outras crianças não perdessem a mãe, ela acabou virando jornalista, uma jornalista esportiva, que trabalhava por trás das câmeras com Charles Walker, um produtor esportivo, que se tornou um segundo pai, e a ensinou muito sobre jornalismo e esportes. Mas a vida de Charlie quase chegou ao fim e ele agora precisa parar de trabalhar tanto e ela foi removida de Seattle para Portland para estar na frente das cameras acompanhando o time de Baseball, Pioneers... detalhe ela não sabe nada de Baseball, e detesta estar à frente das câmeras, e o pior, ela não pode perder o emprego e o novo chefe é um nojento de marca maior que não consegue ver nenhuma qualidade em Izzy e só faz os dias dela serem pior que tudo, mas... Izzy is an orphan, lost her mother still small , when he was 11 years old and a few years after she lost her father, despite having wanted to be a doctor, to help finding a cure or treatment for cancer, so that other children do not lose their mother, she eventually became a journalist, a sports journalist who worked behind the scenes with Charles Walker ... ,a sports producer, who became a second father, and taught much about journalism and sports. Jack Bennett é o homem de segunda base do Pioneers e ele é super dedicado ao time e ao baseball, não se envolve com mulheres e não acredita em supertiçoes, mas desde que viu Izzy pela primeira vez, não consegue tirá-la da cabeça e acaba acreditando que ela é seu 'Lucky Charm' (amuleto da sorte), já que o time e ele vem crescendo dentro do campeonato e podem, até ganhar o Campeonato. Jack Bennett is the second baseman of the Pioneers and he is super dedicated to the team and to baseball, does not get involved with women and does not believe in superstitions, but since he saw Izzy for the first time, he can not get her off his head and ends believing she is his ' lucky Charm', as the team and he has been growing within the league and may even win the Championship .

Eu adorei o livro, os personagens... sofri para compreender um pouco mais do baseball, ainda não sei o que é RBI, mas o amor de Izzy e Jack é fofo... a autora começa sua carreira de autora (este é o primeiro livro de Beth Bolden) muito bem... já quero saber o que vai acontecer com Foxy (o melhor amigo de Jack e também jogador do Pioneers) no próximo livro. I loved the book, the characters... I suffered to understand a little more baseball, still don't know what is RBI, but the Izzy & Jack's love is cute... the author begins her career as an author (this is the first book of Beth Bolden) very well... I wonder what will happen to Foxy (Jack's best friend and also player of the Pioneers ) in the next book .

There’s so many reasons I love this exchange, but there’s one that trumps all the others: Jack is pretty much putty the moment he sees Izzy. He’s just gotten through worrying about another female reporter and the havoc she could wreak on the team, and yet he still can’t take his eyes from Izzy. And I like how he figures out how no-nonsense she is right away, but he likes her anyway. Há tantas razões que eu amo essa troca, mas há um que supera todos os outros: Jack é bastante massa no momento em que vê Izzy. Ele está acabado através de se preocupar com outro repórter eo estrago que ela poderia causar na equipe, e ele ainda não pode tirar os olhos de Izzy. E eu gosto de como ele descobre como no-nonsense, ela é imediatamente, mas ele gosta dela de qualquer maneira.

Beth Bolden lives in Portland, Oregon with one cat and one fiance. She wholly believes in Keeping Portland Weird, but wishes she didn’t have to make the yearly pilgrimage up to Seattle to watch her Boston Red Sox play baseball. If only the Portland Pioneers weren’t only figments of her imagination. Beth Bolden vive em Portland , Oregon , com um gato e um noivo. Ela totalmente acredita em manter Portland estranha , mas deseja que ela não tenha que fazer a peregrinação anual até Seattle para assistir seus Boston Red Sox jogar beisebol. After graduating from university with a degree in English, Beth unsurprisingly had no idea what to do with her life, and spent the next few years working for a medical equipment supplier, a technology company, and an accounting firm.
